Welcome to Sanctuary
By using Sanctuary, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. Sanctuary is a wellness app that transforms your daily steps into a digital garden experience with real-world rewards. Our goal is to make walking more rewarding and enjoyable.
Account & Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sanctuary
You may sign in using Apple, Google, or Email authentication
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
One account per person; creating multiple accounts is prohibited
How Sanctuary Works
Sanctuary syncs your step count from Apple Health or Google Fit to generate "Spirit Energy" that grows your digital garden:
- Steps are converted to energy using server-side calculations
- Energy automatically feeds your active plant through 10 growth stages
- Completing growth stages earns Flowers, Shards, and Badges
- Flowers can be redeemed for real rewards from partner brands
Prohibited Activities
To maintain a fair experience for everyone, the following are prohibited:
- Manipulating or faking step data
- Using third-party tools to automate or cheat the system
- Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities
- Selling or transferring accounts or rewards
- Reverse engineering the app
We have server-side anti-cheat systems with thresholds for maximum steps per minute/hour. Violations may result in account suspension.
Rewards & Virtual Items
Flowers, Shards, Badges, and other virtual items have no real monetary value
Rewards are subject to availability and partner terms
Reserved vouchers expire after a set time if unclaimed
We reserve the right to modify the rewards system and virtual economy
Disclaimers
Sanctuary is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of step count syncing. Sanctuary is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional health advice.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Sanctuary after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
